Sam (thinking): Humans have a food based on me. It must be me because there are no other sqids in human space and I'm the only one they have samples of.
Sam (thinking): Fortunate for them that I am a sqid of exquisite culture and good taste. I wonder if they need a spokesman? I could be the face of "Get Kraken". Not my real face, of course. Humans have yet to appreciate my tentaclely handsomeness.
Sam (thinking): And being the only sqid here, I can't be replaced by someone younger and tastier. That means no food insecurities as I get older.
